The above video is just a short documentary outlining the basics of copyright and fair use in copyright. I wanted to included on my site as I found it a useful resource, which made me want to learn more about copyright and the complications not knowing the do's and don'ts can cause.

On the left I have written down some facts about copyright, that I myself didn't know and found very interesting.
It is very important, especially as a designer, to understand and practice the laws of copyright in the correct way. Without knowing and understand the law, we leave ourselves wide open to theft of our own work or even worse, being sued for using someone else' work in a way in which they hadn't permitted.
